Our Programs

Current Programs:

Goffstown Area Diversion Program – The Diversion program offers first-time juvenile offenders a way to make right whatever wrong they’ve done while by-passing court proceedings and a criminal record. Youths must admit their guilt to be accepted into the program and are given a contract of specific consequences to complete.

Youths participating in Diversion performed 123 hours of community service at locations which include Hillsborough County Nursing Home, New Horizons Food Pantry, Allard Center YMCA and UpReach Therapeutic Riding Center in the past year.

The Starfish Coalition – A united group of community members and students working together to address the use and consequences of alcohol, tobacco and other drugs. The group meets regularly to find ways to reduce the impact of drugs and alcohol in the area, especially among youths. Members include representatives of the courts, schools, community and providing agencies. EVERYONE is welcome to attend. (Bands interested in booking a gig should contact us via email.)

The Goffstown Area Youth Forum – Now in its 16th year, the youth forum continues to generate vital discussion on issues facing kids today. Monthly meetings continue to attract an average of 10 to 20 guests, with occupations including parenting, mental health, education, and law enforcement.

The Youth Attendant Program – This program provides temporary foster care for juveniles who are in custody, but not under arrest. Attendants are called by area police departments when they have a juvenile in custody and no adult family member or guardian can take immediate care of the child. This may include a baby whose parents were injured in an auto accident or children whose parents are under arrest, or even run-away teenagers.

The Primetime Teen Café – This program serves high school-aged youth with activities every Friday afternoon from 3pm to 5pm. Activities may include a rock concert or open mic night at our café location, at 9 North Mast Road. Coming soon - regular after-school drop in hours available for high school students to come and hang out with their friends.

Crispin's House Afterschool Program at Mountain View Middle School – A wonderful opportunity for middle school students to spend time with their friends, do homework, practice photography, cooking, arts & crafts, recreational activities and other life skills. The program serves 200 MVMS youths per year with an average attendance of about 50 students per day. Kids who join in the fun enjoy a healthy snack and activities in a safe, supervised environment on the MVMS campus every day afterschool, including early-release days.
